Only when you sign a lease for a home Swappart wrote to in your name. Nothing before: no subscription, no card at sign-up, no advance payment. If you sign for a home found another way, or don’t sign at all, you pay nothing.
€10.90 per started 14-day block of automatic sending, capped at €54.50 per lease. A day counts when sending was on for at least an hour; days when your account is paused don’t count. Examples: 3 days of sending → €10.90; 20 days → €21.80; 80 days → €54.50. Your counter is visible at any time in your account.
No. Swappart writes for you when the listing gives a direct contact: an email address or a mobile number. On some listing sites, sending takes one click from your account. When the only contact is a listing site’s internal messaging, the listing stays in your feed and you answer it yourself. You only pay for a lease signed on a home Swappart wrote to.
Because Swappart writes to landlords on your behalf, and French law (the “loi Hoguet”) requires a written mandate for that. It’s signed online in a few minutes, gives Swappart no power to sign a lease or handle your money, and you have 14 days to withdraw. The mandate itself is in French.
Yes. You turn automatic sending off in one click, and you can end the mandate at any time, free of charge, from your account. Only a lease signed afterwards for a home Swappart wrote to remains concerned, under the conditions set out in the mandate.
Yes. Automatic sending is only worth it if you’re short on time, and you can always write to landlords yourself on the free plan. Plenty of searches succeed that way — that’s the point of the free plan.
